Lisa Mercedez, real name Alicia, was born in Kingston Jamaica, and is heavily influenced by the dancehall sounds of her hometown. Lisa was raised by her doting father, who sadly passed away when she was 17 years old, and so the name Mercedez is a tribute to his love of the German motor.

Lisa Mercedez began her music career in 2005 where she was introduced to Jamaican dancehall recording artist Stylo G. She later collaborated with his group ‘Warning Crew’ becoming the only female member. Fast forward to 2014, Lisa opted to pursue a career as a solo artist. She relocated to London and began working on her craft, later releasing her first mixtape ‘BGC’ in 2017.

Known for her Caribbean roots, Lisa joined hot female rapper, Nicki Minaj, onstage, alongside Yxng Bane and Ms. Banks on the European leg of the Nicki Minaj World Tour ft. Juice Wrld and later joined her on her hit Queen Radio show.
